Happy Friday!! 嬉しいニュース Happy news! 🔹専門季刊誌: 弓道日本 60号の表紙になってます✨I'm on the cover of the Winter edition of the magazine Kyudo Nippon. 🔹雑誌の中では先輩によるインタビューもございます! 表紙写真と記事: @hirokyudoworld There is an interview (in Japanese) about my feelings on kyudo. My senpai @hirokyudoworld interviewed me and took the cover photo. 🔹この写真はもしかして、たいした何もないと思うかもしれないですが、こちらは礼射、体配の時、一手の一つ目の矢と二つ目の矢の間の瞬間です。この瞬間、頭の中で色々考えるときあります。的外れた時、次外れないよう何変えていこう？自己疑念感じるときもあります、喜び感じるときあります。 The photo is very special to me. It may not seem like much at first, but this moment is in between arrows during ceremonial shooting (taihai). This is a moment where the archer may regain composure after a missed shot, many things go through my mind at this moment, self doubt, or perhaps happiness. 🔹同じ瞬間の別アングルは　4枚目の写真もみれます。 The same moment from a different angle can be seen in photo 4 🔹弓道専門季刊誌『弓道日本・第60号』（弓道日本編集委員会・制作」現在発売中！創刊号から15年、区切りの60号となりました。 🔹ボランティアとして、ライター勤めさせていただいてます。最近編集委員会として就任されました。 記事による、世界からの弓道場のご紹介や世界からの弓道家を紹介してます。 Kyudo Nippon Quarterly magazine celebrates it's 15 year anniversary with this edition, I am so honoured to be on the cover! I have been volunteering as a writer for the magazine in the hope of bringing some international insight by introducing dojos around the world and non Japanese practitioners via my articles. Happy Sunday🏹 🔹マイ鎧と馬上鎧 🔹First look at my armour ハッピーハロウィン🎃 Also Happy Halloween🎃 ※My katana is blade down as I was riding a horse previous and after these photos🏇写真の前後馬を乗ってたため刀は天神差しというはが下向きにしてます。 昨日は初めてマイ鎧で稽古! 鎧で弓引くと腕は思い取りにあがらず、兜もあって引き方に研究しました！ また馬のって弓はしばらく引いてみた。全然違います(笑)体の重心変わりますし、鎧によって体重が増えるところで上下うごきがますますでるので、馬術が足りないというところすごく感じました。 Yesterday I practiced riding in yoroi on horseback. I shot from horseback with armor on at a slow trot and lets say It was a massive learning experience! The increase in weight on the saddle due to the armour really changes your balance and center of gravity. My range of movement was much different due to the sleeves and kabuto helmet. So I adapted my shooting style around the armoiur and it worked out ok. 今度馬上のビデオや写真のせます😊とっても勉強になった一日でした✨ I will post in more detail with video and photos later on. Or visit budojapan.com and click on articles💻️ 英語記事がプロフィールリンクよりアクセス💡 🔹My 2nd article is about my experience with @ninja_council in their Information centre and dojo. 🔹二つ目の記事が日本忍者協議会の東京インフォメーションセンター&道場にて体験レポート。 🔹先生の｢習志野青龍窟｣ (ならしのせいりゅうくつ）先生とお稽古。先生がこのように特技が多いです:忍術・剣術・抜刀術・棒術体術・手裏剣術・身体操作。 🔹My sensei was Narashino Seiryukutsu.@narashino_ninja He is a specialist in ninjutsu, shurikenjutsu, kenjutsu and many other martial arts. 🔹伝統を守る、伝える、一般の方に体験できるようインフォメーションセンターが立ち上げた。個人的にその｢皆さんウェルカム｣というところが好き。皆さんのライフスタイルにあわせて、レッスンの長さ選べることができます✨ 🔹The information center was set up as a means to help keep the tradition alive, and as an entrance into nindou for those interested in learning more. Everyone is welcome and lessons are a variety of lengths which is great for busy people too. 🔹英語の記事になりますか、九字切り、忍者道具勉強、忍足、手裏剣術、隠形術、瞑想法、五感向上のお話も入ってます。 My article talks about the nine symbolic cuts, the equipment that is important to a ninja, shinobi ashi, jumping, shuriken jutsu (two types), ongyojutsu which is the art of stealth (hiding), meisouhou which is a meditation and mindfulness technique, and lastly gokankojo : sharpening the five senses. 🔹矢立という忍者の道具が大変面白かったです。当時メッセンジャーの役割、情報探しなどもしましたので携帯用でメッセージなどかける道具が便利でしたでしょ。 🔹The photo of the brush and holder is called a 「yatate」A portable holder for ink and brush. Part of a ninjas equipment, they used the yatate to make notes, and leave messages when they were outside. 🔹撒き菱、忍者が用いる道具のひとつ。水草であるオニビシやヒメビシの実を乾かしたものを使用た。逃げる途中にばら撒くことで追手に怪我を負わせる、またはそれを踏まないようにするために追手の速度を落とさせる効果がある。 🔹The other interesting one was caltrops or 「maki bishi」made from the dried seed pods of the water chestnut this type of makibashi called tennenbishi, and as you can see, very sharp and spiky. Used in various situations such as at night under doorways and windows where intruders would stand on then while trying to creep around! And lastly, shuriken. The bo shuriken technique was tricky!! Happy Sunday💙 「ちょっとした休憩」 Breaktime during practice 🔸朝早起きして、ホーストレッキング、和式馬術お稽古、馬上武芸お稽古、スポーツ流鏑馬お稽古します。 Out in the morning for a horse trek then back to the ranch to practice washiki bajutsu or traditional Japanese horseriding, ⚔️bajo bugei (horseback martial arts) and 🏹sports yabusame (horseback archery). 🔸朝から動き出しっぱなしがとっても楽しいし、興味深い、とても大好きですが、お腹つきます!!(笑) It's a full on but super fun day.
