日本画の話 Talking about nihonga 素晴らしい絵を通して日本伝統を伝える、守る I visited a wonderful art exhibition yesterday. 🔹スワイプすると作品があります。兜かぶって馬のってる作品もあり、私も兜かぶって行きました。 🔹As you swipe you will see the artwork. Some have kabuto, so I wore my kabuto too. 🔹美しい絵で夢中になり、癒し感じる。可愛らしい侍さん、平安時代美女、目の癒し、日本画。 Intricate works of art depicting old Japan. 🎯Happy Sunday!! 🏹国際女子弓道部 International Women"s Kyudo team 日本で外国人女性弓道家同士でお稽古は滅多にできない現実 I can't express how wonderful it is to have the chance to practice with other non Japanese women here in Japan. Its a rare and very special opportunity. 昨日はなんと✨ お二人が弓と禅遊びに来てくれました！ただただ嬉しかった😭✨ Yesterday I had keiko at a dojo I help run @you.me.and.zen together with sempai @hirokyudoworld ブラジル出身の国際武道大学卒:デボラさんと かっちょい4寸を引くアメリカ出身:ケニヤさん I finally got to meet Debora san and Kenya san. They are both beautiful people and their love and passion for kyudo was so very big❤ Thanks so much for coming💙

Happy Friday everyone!! 金曜日だ✨ ⚔️甲冑の話 ⚔️Talking about kacchu｢armour｣ 🐴幼い頃から、中世の鎧に興味ありました。本:King Athur が大好きで、自分が馬の上で鎧着る事が夢でした。プラスチックの盾と刀を持って中世騎士ごっこしました😊 Since I was very small, I was interested in armour. In NZ it was more about European 19th century armour, King Arthur and the Kinghts of the Round Table. I had a plastic sword and shield😊✨ When I got the chance to try kacchu or Japanese armour, I was so excited! 先日日本の甲冑を着る機会が出てきて、とってもわくわくしました✨ 📷甲冑が 濃紺糸威朱桶側二枚胴具足 前立 四ツ又抱角 (のうこんいとおどししゅおけがわにまいどうぐそく まえたて よつまただきつの） ⚔️400年前の甲冑のレプリカになります✨ 身につけて頂いた武具は陣太刀（じんたち) ⚠️甲冑の重さは約23キロ This is armour is a replica of a 400 year old kacchu called ｢Noukonito Odoshi Shuokegawa Nimai Doukusoku Maedate yotsumata takitsuno｣ This name describes the armour type or kacchu and the kabuto (helmet) type and adornings (horns, and maedate). My sword is a shintachi. This kacchu wasn't as heavy as Oyoroi but it weighed in at about 23 kilos. ズラリと並んだ甲冑と大鎧さん、ゆっくり着てた人物とその歴史について説明してくださったお兄さん😊 選んでから、説明しながら丁寧に着付けが始めました✨ I was educated on all the different types of armour and the famous samurai who wore them! 🎯四半的弓道の話 🎯Talking about Shihan Mato Kyudo 🏹引き方、弓矢、的、狙う距離が｢弓道｣と違います。ピンチ式で引きます。ゆがけを使わない。 🏹Different draw, bow, arrows, target compared to kyudo.　No glove, pinch draw. 🏯宮崎県から広まった四半的弓道は一般の人が引く弓として広まった。 🏯Shihanmato kyudo originated in Miyazaki Pref. about 400 years ago. This type of archery was for the non-samurai/peasants. 的まで8.2m 矢が1.36m 私がよこになって(166cm)比べてみてます😄 It's 8.2m to the target and the arrows are 1.36m long!! 現代ではカーボン弓矢で稽古行うが竹つかってる方います。 Carbon bows and arrows are popular but you can still see people shooting with bamboo. Imagine trying to keep 1.36m long bamboo arrows from getting damaged or changing shape!! 八節, 宮崎の方でも体配や射礼もあります。 弓道と違って左利きの弓はあり、畳に座ったまま弓引きますので椅子も車イスも大丈夫。私服でも大丈夫。 Similar to kyudo there are hassetsu and in some federations taihai/ceremonial shooting too. Different to kyudo: there are left handed bows, you sit on tatami to shoot and people that prefer chairs or need to use wheelchairs are welcomed. I love that. Happy Friday!! 素敵な金曜日を☀️ 🏹Talking about jindou ya 🏹神頭矢の話 神頭（じんとう）厳密には鏑(かぶら)とは別物。外見が鏑と似ている為、しばしば鏑と混同されがちである。中身が刳り貫かれておらず、また大きさも鏑より小さい。 Jindou has a wooden bulb shaped tip and is often mistaken for a kabura ya (whistling arrow )as they are shaped similarly. Kaburaya are hollowed out and whistle upon arrow release. Jindou don't make a sound. 紡錘形から円錐形まで形状・大きさとも一様ではなく、材質は軽量、硬質な木材など、古くは海藻の根を乾燥させたものが使用された。鏃の代わりに矢に取り付け、射あてるものを傷を付けないよう、もしくは射砕く目的で使用される。 There are differen shapes of jindouya and along time ago where actually made of dried hardened seaweed roots. 🎯弽｢ゆがけ｣の話 🎯Talking about ｢yugake｣ the kyudo glove. ゆがけは大切な道具です✨ Kyudo gloves or yugake are usually made by yugake craftspeople. Made of deerskin they fetch quite a high price depending on the popularity of certain craftspeople. 弽は弓を引くための道具で鹿革製です。右手にはめ、弦から右手親指を保護するために使う。製作する職人は弽師です。 Until recently I had a love hate relationship with yugake. 去年まで弽の事は悩む事結構ありました。弓具店で購入した弽がうまく使えず｢離れ｣が中々うまく出れなくて。 The yugake I was using as a bit above my ability and I found it hard to time release in my shooting.
